Mrs. Hattie C. Kerr, 88, of Bonaparte, died Sunday at 8:25 a.m., in Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

She was born March 2, 1885 in Chicago, to Adelbert and Mary Schroeder Kirsch. She married Arlie C. Kerr on July 9, 1907 and moved to Bonaparte from Chicago in 1928. She was a member of the Bonaparte Baptist Church.

She is survived by twin sisters, Mrs. Joe Cox of Bonaparte and Mrs. Nellie Frauenholz of Chicago. She was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., at Bonaparte Baptist Church, with the Rev. Edward Maus officiating. Burial will be in Bonaparte Cemetery.

The body is at the Carl Wilson Reposing Home in Bonaparte. Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington is in charge of the service.
