Clifford Lee Freeman, son of Earl and Ruth Rosenbalm Freeman, was born December 16, 1947 in Monmouth, Ill., and departed this life Friday, Dec. 7, 1979 at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua at the age of 31.
He was a construction worker and lived most of his life in Farmington and Bonaparte communities.
He had been married to Sherri Eid.
Surviving are a son, Brian of Keokuk, his father, Earl of Fall River, Kansas, four sisters, Judy Thornsberry of Cantril, Betty Willemsen of Monroe, Mildred Sampson of Abingdon, Ill., and Evelyn Ullman of Clearwater, Florida. Also surviving are four brothers, Robert Taylor, Hollywood, Calif.; Earl Taylor, apache Junction, Arizona; and Donald Taylor, Davenport, Iowa, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 10, 1979 at 2 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with Rev. Gerald Caughron officiating. Interment was in Bonaparte cemetery.
