Mrs. O.N. Jemison,77, died Sunday about noon at her home in Keosauqua. She had been failing in health for several years and seriously ill for one week. The former Anna Ewing, who was the daughter of William and Nancy Rupe Ewing was born April 26,1885, near Mt. Sterling. She was married Dec. 24,1902, to O.N. Jemison of Keosauqua, who survives. They lived in and near Keosauqua. Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Maurice of Oskaloosa and Harold of Keosauqua; one daughter Mrs. Irma Koonts of Keosauqua; four grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Clarence of Pittsburg, Ben of Mt. Zion, Martin of Garden City, Ks and Emmett of Bonaparte; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Jemison of Stockport and Miss Iva Ewing of Mt. Zion. She was preceded in death by two sons Phillip and Carl; three brothers and two sisters. The funeral will be Tuesday at the Christian Church. Burial will be in the Purdom Cemetery.
