Tommy C. Lewman, son of Thomas and Edna Ewing Lewman was born July 21,1960 at Keosauqua and passed away Jan. 25,1983 near Pittsburg, west of Keosauqua, at the age of 22. He grew up in Douds and moved with his family to Keosauqua in 1978. He graduated from Van Buren High School in 1979. Remaining are his parents of Keosauqua, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Ewing of Bonaparte and Mrs. Mabel Lewman of Keosasuqua. Also surviving are five sisters, Loretta Kindle, Fairfield, Maurine Pilcher and Mona Pilcher both of Douds, Valerie Mote of Keosauqua and Lana Lewman at home, four brothers, Emmett and Brent both of Douds and Bert and Randy both at home, and other relatives and friends. Tommy was a member of the 872nd Maintenance Company Army Reserves at Washington,Ia. Funeral services were held Jan. 31,1983 at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua. Interment was in Pittsburg Cemetery.
