Charles G. Anderson

Charles Gustaf Anderson, son of Ingrid and Anders Anderson, was born at Smaland, Sweden, Novermber 11, 1866, and passed away in his home in Farmington, Iowa, being at the time of his death 78 years, 3 months, and 6 days of age.

He came to the United States in 1893 and resided in Chariton, Iowa for one year. He lived in Keokuk, prior to coming to Farmington in 1912.

He was united in marriage with Anna Peterson in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1899. To this union were born two children, Carl and Jesse.

John, his only brother, preceded him in death several years ago.

Those surviving are his wife, two sons, three nieces and one nephew.

He was a member of the Nazarene Church. He joined during the ministry of the Rev. John Leih in October, 1936, but had attended long before that. He was loved by all and we will miss him but he is in that better land.
