MRS. FANNIE ALLEN

Fannie Therme Allen died Saturday at a hospital in Denver, Colo. She had been ill several weeks.

She was a former resident of Van Buren Co., near Farmington, and was a teacher in the schools of the county.

Her husband, James Allen passed away last January.

She is survived by a daughter, a granddaughter and a great granddaughter, her brother, Volney and a sister, Mrs. T. L. Parish of Denver, Colo.

Funeral services were held Tuesday in Fleming, Colo., her home town, with burial at Sterling, Colo.

Mr. and Mrs. Volney Therme, accompanied by their niece, Mrs. Charlie Anson of Keosauqua, left Sunday for Colorado, to attend the last rites.
