TAYLOR, FREEMAN, THORNSBERRY, ULLMAN, WILLEMAN, SAMPSON

Robert W. Taylor, son of John and Ruth Rosenbalm Taylor, was born October 19, 1943 in Monmouth, Ill. And died the morning of Thursday, Feb. 18, 1988 in Van Buren Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua, at the age of 44.

He lived most of his life in Van Buren County, the past 20 years at the County Care Facility.

Surviving are his stepfather, Earl Freeman of Cantril, four sisters, Judy Thornsberry of Cantril, Evelyn Ullman, Clearwater, Fla., Betty Willeman, Monroe, Iowa, and Mildred Sampson, Abingdon, Ill., three brothers, Earl Taylor, Mesa, Ariz., Paul Taylor, Davenport, Iowa and Don Taylor, Dallas, Texas, other relatives and friends.

His parents and a brother, Clifford Freeman preceded him in death.

Graveside services were held Saturday, Feb. 20, 1988 at 2 p.m., in the Bonaparte Cemetery, with Rev. Lester Terlouw officiating. Arrangements were in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua. A memorial was established for the Van Buren County Care Facility.
