Donald Laverne Caudill, 69, died early Tuesday morning, September 15, 1998 at Grinnell, Iowa.

Born September 9, 1929 near Bonaparte, he was the son of Lewis Frank and Ina Deborah Miller Caudill.

He graduated from Bonaparte High School in 1946 and served in the Armed Forces.

He is survived by his wife Jean, two children, Carla Kopeck of Texas and Michael Frank of Mechanicsville; a sister Rose Martin of Elmwood Park, Ill.; and a half brother, Lester Frank Caudill of Erie, Penn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, a step mother and a half brother.
The body was cremated and memorial services were held Saturday, September 19.
