Ruby M. Peterson, 74, of Bonaparte, died at 8:45 p.m. Monday, July 11, 1988, at University Hospitals, Iowa City.

Mrs. Peterson was born Feb. 7, 1914 at Bonaparte. She was a seamstress for the Fairfield Glove Co. of Bonaparte. She lived in Elkton, S.D. For 20 years, moving back to Bonaparte in 1985.

On Nov. 14, 1959, at Fairfield, she was married to Arvid Peterson, who survives.
Also surviving is a sister, Velda Marshall, Bonaparte.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Her parents were Elmer and Lottie Morris Roberts.

The body is at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington where services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 14. Burial will be in the Bonaparte Cemetery.

Friends may call after noon on Wednesday at the Hofbauer Funeral Home where the family will meet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
