Doris Elizabeth Wilson, 73, Farmington, died at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1987 at Keokuk Area Hospital.

Mrs. Wilson was born April 3, 1914 at Van Wert, Ia. A long time resident of Bonaparte, where she was a telephone operator for 16 years, she moved to Farmington in 1982. She was a cook at Harmony High School for 15 years. She was a member of the Lionels and of the American Legion Auxiliary, both of Bonaparte.

On Jan. 5, 1949 in Farmington, she was married to Carl O. Wilson, who died in 1986.

Surviving are two brothers, Bernard Denly, Stronghurst, Ill., and Glen Denly, Biggsville, Ill.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Her parents were Ira E. and Lizzie Shields Denly.

The body is at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington where services will be at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in the Bonaparte Cemetery.
