Carribelle Donnelly, 81, of El Paso, Texas died July 19, 1987 in a nursing home in El Paso.
Born May 10, 1906 in Bonaparte, the daughter of O. R. and Effie Cox Perkins, she married Kenneth Donnelly June 12, 1929 at Burlington.
She attended public school in Bonaparte and graduated in 1923. After graduation she taught in rural schools for several years. Following her marriage, she and her husband lived in various Illinois cities as his position demanded. After his retirement, they moved to El Paso.
Carribelle was a member of Preceptor Alpha Nu Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi and a 50 year member of Magnolia Chapter OES.
She is survived by her brother-in-law, Aaron Donnelly of Tempe, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her brother.
The body was cremated and ashes returned later to Bonaparte. A memorial has been established to Bonaparte Cemetery Association.
