Sylvia Esther Fisher, daughter of William and Mary Badgley, was born July 14,1887 and departed this life on Sept 2,1955 at the Van Buren Co. Hospital in Keosauqua, at the age of 68, after an illness of two days. She spent her entire life in Van Buren Co. She was united in marriage to Edward C. Fisher on Sept. 22,1909. To this union was born two sons Charles W. of Clenoa,Il and Lawrence B. at home. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward C. Fisher on July 20,1948, by her parents, an infant brother, one sister Minnie Alice ,at the age of 5 and a brother Cleve of Worthington, Mo. She is survived by two sons Charles and Lawerence, one grandson Edward C. Fisher; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Helmhout of Milton and Mrs. Eva Haney of Keosauqua and one brother Ray, also of Milton. Funeral services were held at the farm house on Sunday Sept 4,1955. Burial was in the Lebanon cemetery.
