Brenda Kay Longcor Bell, 4, died suddenly Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 6, 1965 at the Jefferson County Hospital following surgery.
She was the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Donald W. Bell, 605 W. Jackson, Fairfield. Services were held Friday at 2:30 p.m. At the Weston Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, in charge of the Rev. Charles Kerestly. Burial was in the Bonaparte Cemetery.
The child underwent a tonsillectomy Wednesday at 8 a.m. She died at 1 p.m. After a blood clot developed in her lung.
Brenda Kay was born in Fairfield Oct. 30, 1960, the daughter of Betty Haynes Longcor and Donald W. Bell. She is survived by her parents and the following half-brothers and half-sisters, Morris Longcor, Jr., Beverly LaBarbara, Sandra Baker and Gordon Bell. Also her grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. John Haynes of Bonaparte.
