Mrs. Willard Cocherell

Mrs. Helen Cocherell, 59, died Friday, Sept. 17, 1965 at 5:50 a.m. at Memorial Hospital at Keosauqua after an extended illness.
Born Feb. 26, 1906, at Bonaparte, she was the daughter of Emil and Lula Louise Nawman Noske. She was a lifetime resident of Bonaparte.
In 1928 she was married in Illinois to Willard Cocherell, who survives. Mrs. Cocherell was a grocery clerk.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Sunshine Society and American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors, besides the widower, include two sons, Willard J. of Bonaparte and Glen I. Of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren; two brothers, Harry and Emil Noske, Jr. of Bonaparte and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Meek of Bonaparte and Mrs. Harry Jenkins of West Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Fred (Pat) Noske.
The funeral service was held Sunday, Sept. 19 at 2 p.m. at the Bonaparte Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Wayne Lowry officiating. Burial was in Bonaparte Cemetery.
