Jack Leffler Story

Jack Leffler Story, son of Edgar W. Edna Perkins Story, was born and raised on a farm south of Bonaparte, Aug. 10, 1914 and departed this life from the same home on August 7, 1969.
He was married to Sarah Payne on April 20th, 1935 and has two daughters, Mrs. J.O. (Azalee) Evans, of Fort Madison and Mrs. Don (Joyce) Wichhart of rural Bonaparte, also one grandson, Jack Spencer and two sons-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Mary Leslie and one grandson, J.D. Evans.
He was a much loved husband, Dad and grandfather, who will be greatly missed.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Bonaparte Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Roy Hoover. Burial was in Bonaparte Cemetery. Arrangements were by Catcott Funeral Home, Keosauqua.
