Mrs. Lafe Parker

Mrs. Lafe Parker passed away Wednesday morning at her home in Farmington, Ia after being seriously ill for one week. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Huff and was born February 20,1864. In 1883 she was united in marriage to Mr. Lafe Parker and to this happy union eight children were born. two have preceded her in death. Those to mourn her death are as follows; Mrs. Tilda Smith, near Mt. Pleasant, James of Donnellson, Roy of Vernon, Mrs. Lila Pezley of Montrose, Mrs. Edith Morse of Farmington and Mrs. Lillian Johnson of Milwaukee, Wi. She also leaves 22 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, two sisters and five brothers and a host of friends to mourn her death. She was a devoted mother and wife and loved by all who knew her. The funeral services were held on Friday and the remains were taken to Vernon and laid to rest by her father.
