C. E. Newlon died at his home in Bentonsport last Wednesday and was buried Friday at ten o'clock. He was 84 years of age and was a respected citizen. Robt. Cresswell and wife of Ottumwa and Sheridan Cresswell, besides other relatives were present at the beside during the last moments.
