Arthur Logan, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Finn, living near Bonaparte, was born near Galesburg, Ia., May 13, 1888, Died July 14, 1905, at the age of seventeen years, two months and one day.

The deceased was the youngest of a family of twelve children, eight are still living, and were all at home on this occasion. Three of the children had died in infancy. Arthur had been ailing since February last but was not considered seriously ill by his physician or parents until a week before he died. He was converted during Bro. Butler's meeting at the school house, the winter of 1901.

Everything was done that loving hands could do but all of no avail. He was of a kind and loving disposition, a great student, and loved by all his associates. He will be greatly missed in the home.

The services were held at Story chapel Sunday morning. A very large and sympathic [sic] audience were present. He was laid to rest in the Willits cemetery west of the church.
