Susannah Margaret McClure was born in Ross county, Ohio, Dec. 17, 1831 and died at her home in Bonaparte, Aug. 13, 1904, aged 72 years, 7 months and 27 days.

She moved with her parents when but three years of age to Noble county, Indiana where she resided until 1841, coming with her parents to this city where she has since resided.

She was united in marriage to Dennis Haney, Feb. 22, 1854. Seven children were born to this union, three dying in infancy, leaving four to mourn her loss, Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson of Hobart, Okla., R. L. Haney of Creston, and Mrs. Lulu B. Ewing and Will E. Haney of Bonaparte.
