Faye Hainline, 101, of Bonaparte died Dec. 10, 1997, at Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua. She was born Dec. 9, 1896, in Bonaparte to George Martin Kerr and Sadie Lawrence Kerr. She married Leslie Glen Hainline on June 10, 1915, in Keosauqua. She lived her entire life in Bonaparte. She was a homemaker. She is survived by a son, Bruce Hainline of Bonaparte; three daughters, Agnes Graybeal of Rising Sun, Md., Marceline Nelson of Merrill and Garnett Pratt of Bonaparte; 19 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren; a brother, Arlie Kerr of Aurora, Colo; and a sister, Gertrude Lockwood of Winter Haven, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a daughter, a grandson, three brothers and four sisters. Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 1997 at Bonaparte, Baptist Church, the Rev. Larry Waters officiating. Burial was in Bonaparte Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Bonaparte Cemetery Association and may be left at Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington.
