DEATH OF MRS. FRED WARNING

On Tuesday, May 9, 1922, just as the clock struck 9:10 p.m. the beautiful life of Hilinda Warning passed to the great beyond. The funeral services were held on Thursday at the Methodist Church in Cantril, where a large congregation of relatives and friends were gathered to pay their last tribute to this loved one. The many beautiful floral offerings with which the casket was banked were emblems of the pure sweet life she had lived, and the esteem in which she was held by all.

Hilinda Sterett, daughter of Robert and Caroline Sterett, was born near Azen, Mo., November 2, 1871, being at the time of her death 50 years, 6 months, and 7 days of age.

She was united in marriage to Fred Warning, April 30, 1890. To this union were born 4 children. Namely: Roy dying in infancy; Earl, Ray, and Pearl and one granddaughter, who with the bereaved husband are left to mourn her loss.

She was converted in early life and lived the life of a faithful Christian, being at the time of her death a member of the Methodist Church. A devoted wife, a loving mother and a true friend has gone to her reward.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Shultz of Granger, Mo.
