COFFIN, SULLIVAN, GARES, PECHSTEIN, YATES, WELLER

Mrs. Cintha Coffin died Saturday, April 23 at 9:30 a. m. at Sacred Heart hospital, Fort Madison, Iowa. She had been in failing health for the past three and a half years.

A twin daughter of James and Elizabeth Sullivan, she was born Feb. 28, 1871, in Clark County, Missouri, and spent all of her life in this vicinity.

On July 6, 1890 she married Charles Coffin, who died May 15, 1928.

She was a member of Farmington Methodist Church.

Surviving are one son, Clarence Coffin of Farmington; two daughters, Mrs. Viola Gares, Farmington, and Mrs. Lora Pechstein, of Fort Madison. One daughter, Beulah Yates, and two granddaughters preceded her in death. Also surviving are one brother, Harvey Sullivan of Mt. Sterling, Iowa and one sister, Belle Weller of Birmingham, Iowa, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were held from the Farmington Methodist Church Monday at 2:00 p. m., with the Rev. Donald Arthur officiating. Burial was made in Christy Cemetery.
