Charles McManis (1867 - 1916)

Chas. McManis was born at Milton, Iowa, Feb. 22, 1867, and departed this life Sept. 11, 1916, at his home near Pulaski. At an early age in life he united with the Grace M.E. Church and has always lived a faithful and loyal member. On Nov. 12, 1890, he was united in marriage to Miss Anna Ploss, of Milton, Iowa. To this union was born one daughter. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife and daughter, Mrs. Edna Cook, two sisters, Mrs. Ella Criol of Milton and Mrs. Delpha Corrick of Ottumwa; two brothers, William of Cantril, and George of Kansas; besides a host of friends and neighbors. Services were held at the home near Pulaski and buial was made at the Milton cemetery. Rev. Fix of Pulaski had charge of the services.

I am a Great Grand-daughter of Chas McManis and just recently started researching this branch of family. If you have any information of this branch any and all info would be greatly appreciated.
