Mrs. T. E. Yeager, a well known resident of this place passed away at St. Joseph’s hospital at Keokuk Sunday morning at 4:40 o’clock. Mrs. Yeager was taken to Keokuk Wednesday of last week but was in such a weakened condition that an operation could not be performed.
Mrs. Yeager was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan McLane of this place and was born February 12th, 1872, in Scotland county, Missouri, and died March 5th, 1916. She was married to Thos. E. Yeager September 12th, 1893; to this union was born six children; four girls, Ruth, Paula, Pearl and Clara; two boys, Ward and Claude. She leaves besides her husband and children, her father and mother, four brothers and four sisters: Charles of Fresno, California; William of Memphis, Missouri; Alvia and Harvey, of Grandview, Washington; Mrs. Anzina Stone, of Grandview, Washington; Mrs. Blanche Yeager, of Chino, California; Mrs. Mattie Norris, of Cantril; and a large circle of friends.
