Birmingham - Mrs. Stella E. Ramsey died February 5 at the home of her son, Nels Ramsey, at Birmingham. Death terminated a prolonged illness.
Mrs. Ramsey was born February 22, 1869, near Kilbourn, the daughter of Harvey and Kathryn Flutzs. On July 28, 1886, she was married to Charles E. Ramsey, who died August 29, 1939.

Besides her son, Mrs. Ramsey leaves four sisters: Mrs. Anna Pfeiffer, Aurora, Nebraska, and Mrs. Emma Ramsey, Mrs. Bess Oosterhoek and Mrs. Eva osterhoek, all of Birmingham. Also surviving are four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Three children died previously.

Last rites will be held at the Birch-Catcott funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Reverend Glenn Lochhead, pastor of the Methodist Church, will officiate, and burial will be in the Kilbourn Cemetery.
