LEWIS FRANK CAUDILL
Lewis Frank, son of William and Lydia Caudill, was born Mary 26, 1894, near Paintsville Kentucky and passed away March 3, 1942, aged 47 years and 5 days.
He came to Iowa when a young man and spent the rest of his life in the vicinity of Bonaparte.
On December 12, 1916, he was united in marriage with Ina D. Miller, who passed away November 27, 1933. To this union, five children were born, Rose A. of Elgin Illinois; Gerald M. of Fort Jackson South Carolina; Verlee and Donald at home, and Clifford of Everett Washington.
On September 8, 1937, he was united in marriage with Alta M. Shaw. To this union one son, Lester Frank was born.
Besides his wife and children, he is survived by two brothers and two sisters; Charles of Bonaparte; Leet of Ohio; Mrs. Ollie Caudill of Wenatchee Washington, and Mrs. Chloe Tackett of Cold Water Michigan. These together with a number of other relatives and a host of friends mourn his departure.
Funeral services conducted by Rev. C.H. Orf, were held from the Burnett Funeral Home in Keosauqua Iowa March 6, 1942. Interment was in the Bonaparte Cemetery.
