Dale Mize
Dale D. Mize, 73, Mount Sterling, died Wednesday, May 12, 1993, at his home, apparently due to natural causes.
He was born Aug. 24, 1919, in Vernon Township, the son of Lewis and Willa Hales Mize.
Mr. Mize spent his life farming the same land where he was born. He was a member of Center Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are several cousins; he was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will begin at noon on Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 15, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Michael Druhl. officiating. Burial will be at Center Chapel Cemetery, Keosauqua.
Memorials to his church or the Center Chapel Cemetery may be left at Pedrick Funeral Home.
(It should be noted that Mount Sterling was his address, but his home was north of town in the country. Also Center Chapel is a country church and is not located in Keosauqua.)
