LEONARD ALEXANDER

Leonard Alexander, 72, of Geneseo,Ill., passed away very suddenly at his home the afternoon of Dec. 24 (1977).

He was born near Mt. Sterling, Iowa, March 19, 1905, of Gertie Cavitt and Emery E. Alexander.

He was married to Evelyn Gotthardt Sept. 6, 1941 at Geneseo. He lived all his married life on the same farm.

He is survived by his widow, Evelyn; six brothers and four sisters, Arthur of Wyaconda, Mo., Wiley and Gene of Keosauqua, Iowa, Stanley of Galesburg, Roy of Jefferson, Iowa, Neal of Alpha, Mrs. Edna Thomas and Mrs. Foster (Grace) Brewer of Milton,Iowa, Mrs. John (Letha) Scott of Keosauqua, Iowa and Mrs. Ronald (Mae) Phillips
of Rockford.

Services were held Tuesday, December 27, 1977 at the Myers Funeral Home, Geneseo. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
