On June 21, 1893, she was united in marriage to George W. Guernsey and to this union was born one son, George W. Jr. Her husband departed this life March 24, 1894. She was a practical nurse and has been in many homes in the years of her work in the communities all about Cantril, Milton and Lebanon. She went to the home of her son, George, several weeks ago.
In early girlhood she united with the Presbyterian Church in Lebanon, and ever remained a member of the old home church.
She was a member of the Ladies Aid and often taught in the S.S. She was also as member of the Rebekah Lodge of Milton.
She leaves to mourn her passing the son George and his wife and their six sons; one brother, Ralph and his wife besides several cousins and a host of friends and neighbors
Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian Church in Milton on Thursday, December 19, 1935, at 2:00 with Rev. Lloyd Tennant of Bloomfield preaching the sermon. Interment was in the Sunnyside Cemetery Milton Iowa. I am not related and am posting this obituary for those who might find this person in their family history.
