MRS. ADA MURPHY BURNS.
OBITUARY SKETCH.

Ada Murphy, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Murphy of Vernon, Iowa, died at three o'clock P. M. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1904, of quick consumption.

Funeral services were held in the Vernon M. E. church on Thursday afternoon, Rev. Collier of Eldon officiating.

Mrs. Burns was thirty-one years and three months old and leaves her husband, Frank Burns, and a little daughter four months old to mourn their loss. The grandmother, Mrs. Murphy, will take care of the child. She [also] leave two brothers, Perry and [torn here] Murphy.

The sympathy of all who know the bereaved family is extended them in [this] there hour of sadness.
