Flora Robinson daughter of __T. and Elizabeth Robinson, was born in Noble County Ohio, October 7, 1856, and departed this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bent Humbert, November 4, 1934, at the age of 78 years and 29 days old. She came to Iowa when but a small child, where she had continued to live until the time of her death.
She was united in marriage to Henry Roby, October 3, 1878. He preceded her in death August 16, 1916. She leaves to mourn their loss three children, Mrs. Bent Humbert, of Milton, Clyde of Pekin Illinois, and Harry of Ottumwa; one brother J.D. Robinson of Milton; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. One brother Frank preceded her in death. Her children were all with her when the end came. She bade them good-bye and said she would soon be all right. She was always thoughtful for the comforts of others. She united with the Methodist church in early life. She later placed her membership in the Christian church with her husband and family. She was a member of the Rebecca Order of Milton. I am not related and am posting this obituary for those who might find this person in their family history.
