Clara Bell, daughter of Omer and Cornelia Chisman Wilson was born May 25, 1880, near Milton Iowa, and passed away at her home 3 miles north of Milton July 13, 1935, at the age of 55 years, 1 month and 18 days.
She was married to Walter C. Winn December 29, 1907. To this union were born three children, Forrest W. and Dorothy C. at home, and Edith A. now Mrs. Joe Kreiss of Keosauqua Iowa.
At an early age Mrs. Winn united with the Methodist Episcopal church at Lebanon Iowa and remained a faithful member.
She is survived by her husband; three children; one grandson Gary Lee Kreiss; her son-in-law Joe Kreiss; six bothers, James. P. Wilson, Arthur M. Wilson, Paul C. Wilson, Frank Wilson, Willis V. Wilson and Elmer L. Wilson and one sister, Mrs. Nellie Abernathy all of near Milton; also her mother in law Mrs. Anna Winn, of Milton Iowa. Her father and mother preceded her in death.
Mrs. Winn was the queen in the home. Her home was her castle, where she welcomed the meeting of any and all the church groups and welcomed the young people who all loved to be invited to the Winn home.
Funeral services were held at the Lebanon M.E. Church with the Rev. Lloyd Tennant of Bloomfield in charge. Burial was made in the Lebanon cemetery. I am not related and am posting this obituary for those who might find this person in their family history.
