Mrs. Minerva Nixon Franks - Widow of late Solomon C. Franks died January 27, 1913, age 64 years, 7 months, 27 days. Lived in Farmington. Miss Minerva Nixon born Fredericksburg, OH on May 30, 1848 and married Solomon C. Franks in 1871. To Bentonsport in 1879, thence to Farmington in 1895. Her husband died September 5, 1912. 6 children, all surviving: Mrs. Hattie Rockey, Suguache, CO; Mrs. Alta McCutcheon of Auburn, WA; Wm. N. Franks of Atlantic, IA; Mrs. Anna McCracken of Bonaparte; Clarence P. Franks of Farmington, IA and Mrs. Jennie F. Sawyers of Hannibal, MO. Leaves large number of grandchildren, one great grandchild and a brother, John Nixon of Apple Creek, OH. F-Farmington Cem, Farmington.
