George W. Brown - Born near Bonaparte on February 3, 1848, the youngest son of Alfonzo & Lutheana Brown, being one of a family of 7 children, 4 boys, 3 girls. Married Miss Maria Smith of Bentonsport January 26, 1871. To this union one son, Seth, was born. He was killed by the cars at Eldon a few years ago. George Brown died June 22, 1908, age 60 years, 4 months, 19 days. Leaves his wife and grandson, George W. Brown of TX, 2 sisters, the latter being Mrs. C. Crandall of Lebanon, OR and Mrs. E. Price of Lebanon, KS. F-Bonaparte Cemetery, Bonaparte.
