William Henry Sedore, son of Jacob and Rachel Sedore, was born September 15, 1890 on a farm east of Ottumwa and died November 14, 1929, being 39 years, 1 month and 29 days old.
He lived there until twelve years of age, when he moved with his parents to a farm near Lebanon where they lived for a short time when they moved to a farm near Milton where he spent the greater part of his life.
He leaves to mourn his loss his aged mother, two brothers, Aaron and Harvey Sedore, both of Milton; Mrs. Lulu Johns of Ottumwa and Mrs. Lora Murry of Milton; half brother John Sedore of Ottumwa; 3 half sisters; Mrs. Eva Hetz of Kansas City Mo., Mrs. Frances McGary of Carthage Mo., and Mrs. Melvina Bogartus of Madison Wisconsin, besides many nephews and nieces who dearly loved Uncle Will. His father, one brother and five sisters having gone on to await his coming to that home above.
In September, 1917 he answered the call of his country for men for service. He belonged to Company F, 313 Engineers.
He united with the Christian Church at Cantril under the pastorate of the Rev. Paul E. Wright. He lived an upright life, was a kind and accommodating neighbor, and will be greatly missed by his many friends.
Milton Herald 1929 I am not related, and am copying this obituary for those who might find this person in their family history.
