T.C. Boag died at his home in Des Moines Friday morning December 13, 1935. Funeral services were held in Des Moines and the body brought to Milton Sunday for burial. Short services were held at the grave.
Mr. Boag was a former Milton merchant, being engaged in the mercantile business here for many years in partnership with his father-in-law W.H. Russell. He and Mr. Russell built the brick building now occupied by the Lynch Cafe. Previous to this, their place of business was in the frame buiding just across the street from the Presbyterian Church.
The family moved to Des Moines about 15 years ago, which has been their home since.
He was united in marriage to Miss Wilma Russell, who preceded him in death. Later he was married to Miss Mabel Weiny, daughter of George Weiny, who then lived northeast of Milton, who with one son Weiny and one son by the first marriage, Russell survive him.
Mr. Boag was for many years an Elder in the Milton Presbyterian Church, continuing this position with the church in Des Moines until his death.
