MISS ENGLEBRIGHT GONE TO REWARD
-----------------
WELL KNOWN FARMINGTON RESIDENT DIED TUESDAY AT HOME OF HER SISTER ON SOUTH MAIN STREET
-----------------
DECEASED BORN IN GERMANY
-----------------
MADE HER HOME WITH HER SISTER, MRS. FRED WEIRE, FOR MANY YEARS--LIFELONG MEMBER OF CHRISTIAN CHURCH
-----------------
After years of failing health Miss Mary Englebright passed into the realms of the great hereafter Tuesday morning. For many years the deceased made her home in Farmington with her sister Mrs. Fred Weire. Always modestly retiring, she was known and beloved by a host of acquaintances who appreciated her uniform kindness. To do good, was the key note of her whole life, and she lived her years of usefulness in doing good for all who came within the sphere of her influence.

Mary Wilhelmina Englebright was born in Germany September 29, 1845, and with her parents came to New York three years later. The family remained in the metropolis a year or more, then moved to Little York, Pa. The Englebright family at the solicitation of Fred Weire's father came to Farmington township about 1850.

During her girlhood Miss Englebright became a member of the Christopher Krider family, who lived in Keokuk, but later moved to Missouri. While living in Keokuk the deceased was converted and became a member of the Baptist church. After going to Missouri she transferred her membership to the Christian church, with which organizaiton she continued to remain a constant and consistent member until her death.

Mrs. Weir and Mrs. Matilda Spurgeon, the latter a half sister, are the only known relatives of the deceased who survive.

Funeral services were conducted from the Christian church Wednesday afternoon, Rev. J. H. Koch of the M.E. church in charge.
