OBITUARY

Charley Eacer Watkins was born July 21, 1876 at Mt. Sterling, Iowa. He was the fifth son of John and Mary Watkins. In the year of 1900, on the 6th day of December, he was joined in holy wedlock to Miss Jennie Lodwick of Ft. Madison. To this union were born three sons, one who died in infancy and Orra and Earl, who survive with the two brother-in-laws, Mr. Lon Robinson and Mr. Clarence McLeland, and many relatives and friends.

Death occurred Thursday, Feb. 6, 1908, and the funeral services were held on Friday at 1 o'clock at the residence, Rev. Maxwell of the Christian church of this city conducting the services, the body being laid to rest in the Cantril cemetery.
