DEATH OF GEO. F. WRIGHT
------------------
Hon. Geo. F. Wright, who practiced law in Keosauqua until 1868, when he moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa, died in that city Thursday, Dec. 13, 1906, aged 73 years the fifth of this month. His death was the result of complication of kidney troubles. He was a nephew of the late Judge J. C. Knapp of Keosauqua, whose wife is still a resident of this place. Mr. Wright was born in Vermont Dec. 5, 1833, and came to Keosauqua in 1855, where he entered the noted law firm of Wright, Knapp & Caldwell as a student, and was admitted to the Van Buren county bar in 1857. While bearing the same name, except the middle intial letter, F., he was of no blood relation whatever to the late Judge Geo. G. Wright of Keosauqua and Des Moines and who was the senior member of the firm above named. Many of the older residents of the county will remember George F. Wright and hear with sorrow of his death.

I am NOT related to this person and am posting it for those who may find him/her in their family tree.
