Funeral services for Mrs. Louisa Jane Tully were held in Cantril on Tuesday, Feb. 12, with interment in Maple Grove cemetery. She died suddenly from a heart attack on the previous Saturday at her home in Kirksville.
She was born Sept. 14, 1852, near Cantril, Iowa, a daughter of Jacob and Lucinda Struble. She was the youngest of nine children and the last survivor of the family. She was united in marriage in 1876 with Thomas Tulley and five children were born. Surviving are her daughter, Jessie, with whom she made her home in Kirksville, and three sons, J. F. of Sonora, Calif., I. L. of Buena Vista, Colo., and S. A. Tulley of Cameron, Mo. She was a member of the Methodist church at Memphis.
