DEATH OF MRS. ELIZABETH KERR

Mrs. Elizabeth Kerr, mother of Mr. J. W. Kerr, the Mt. Sterling merchant, died Saturday, January 19, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S. G. Davis near Mt. Sterling. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church in Mt. Sterling Tuesday afternoon of this week, conducted by Rev. Mr. Smith. Mrs. Kerr was an estimable and well beloved woman, and a long-time resident of the Mt. Sterling neighborhood. Her husband died several years ago. She is survived by the following children: J. W. Kerr, Geo. Kerr, Clem Kerr, Mrs. S. G. Davis, Mrs. Wm. Miller, and Mrs. Mark Verback.
