OBITUARY
Joseph Calvin Strickling, son of Henry and Sarah Strickling, was born at Winchester, Van Buren county, Iowa, September 29th, 1855, and departed this life at the home of his son in Keosauqua, Iowa, Sunday, March 16th, 1924, at the age of six-[missing]
Mr. Strickling is survived by his son, J. Henry Strickling; his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Isabel Strickling; his grand-daughter, Miss Ethelyn Strickling, of Keosauqua, and the following sisters and brother in order of their age: Mrs. Beatrice Johnson of Kansas City, William J. Strickling of Burlington, Mrs. J. M. Overman of Keosauqua, Mrs. Lena Stewart of St. Louis, Mrs. L. C. Ream of Spokane, and also his step-mother, Mrs. Mary Strickling, of Spokane--and other more distant relatives and an entire
