E. E. FRENCH

E. E. French died on Sunday, Dec. 6th, at Eustis, Florida, where he and his wife were spending the winter. His health had been failing for two or three years.

The body was taken to New York for interment, being accompanied by his son-in-law, Mr. Dean. Mrs. French's health would not permit her to make the journey.

Mr. French was for a number of years a clothing merchant in Keosauqua in the room now occupied by the Hombs & Kinnersly Hardware store. He moved away from here about twenty-five years ago.

The surviving members of the family are his wife, Anna Bowman French, and one daughter, Mrs. Katherine Dean, of Flushing, New York.
