GEORGE HULL

George Hull was born April 17, 1854, in Van Buren county, Iowa, where he lived until 1908. He was married to Jane Moore October 28, 1875. To this union were born five children, four boys and one girl, Arthur, Edwin, Stephen, Paul and Edith. His wife and all five children preceded him in death.

On September 26, 1888, he was married to Phoebe Ann Lowe. To this union one child, Ernest, was born, with whom he made his home. Pheobe [sic] Ann Hull preceded him in death on March 24, 1927.

He was called unto his Maker Nov. 10, 1929, at 4:15 p.m. at the home of his son, Ernest, 1018 West Second St., Ottumwa, at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 23 days. He was the youngest of a family of nine children, five boys and four girls.

He is survived by one son, Ernest, and two grandchildren, Richard and Margaret Hull.
