Darrell E. Dow.

Darrell E. Dow, 65, of 650 E. 29th St., Davenport, was pronounced dead on arrival at Mercy Hospital at 2 p.m. February 20, 1959. He apparently was the victim of a heart attack.

Services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23 in Hill and Fredericks Home. The Reverend Clinton Meininger, pastor of First Christian Church officiated. Burial was in Oakdale Cemetery.

Mr. Dow was owner of J. W. Dow and Sons Printing Company, Davenport.

He was born June 26, 1893, in Davenport. He married Beulah V. Wolf July 6, 1917, in Cedar Rapids. He was a member of first Christian Church and the Davenport Exchange Club.

Surviving are the widow; his stepmother, Mrs. Gertrude E. Dow, Davenport; two sons, Jack Dow, Rock Island, and Craig K. Dow, Overland Park, Kansas, and five grandchildren.

Mrs. Dow is a niece of Nora Burrier of Farmington, who is at the Hainline Nursing home at this time.
