Sarah Margaret HESTON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel HESTON, born near Libertyville, Iowa, May 6, 1863, died Sept. 23 at her home 3 mi. n.w. of Libertyville.

Married, first, Dec. 29, 1881, at Selma, Iowa, Mr. Johnathan HARPER. Two sons, Charlie and Wilbur HARPER. Charlie died May 4, 1897. The husband and father died Feb. 13, 1902.

Two years later she married Samuel McCLEARY, in June, 1904. He died Apr. 15, 1915. This leaves an only son, Wilbur HARPER, one sister, Miss Jane HESTON, Libertyville, Iowa; three brothers, Wm. HESTON in Belview, Kan.; Absalom HESTON, Fairfield; C. A. HESTON near Fairfield, Iowa. Christian Church in Eldon. Member Royal Neighbors and Rebecca Lodge. Interment in the Eldon Cemetery.
