I, Adam Teter of Des Moines Township,Van Buren County, Iowa, do make the follering my last will and testament to-wit:
After paying my just debts, I do will and bequeath unto my wife Mary Ann Teter all of my property, both real and personal, for the rest of her natural life. After her death, then I do will and direct that Joseph W. Teter and Hugh Teter have One hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) each; and that the remainder be equally divided share and share equally between my children, to-wit: John F. Teter, Christena I. McLeland, Martha A. Silver, Joseph W. Teter, George R. Teter, Charles E. Teter and Hugh Teter. Should any of the within named heirs die before they come in possession of their property them I direct that their children receive their share. I do further request that in the division of the real estate, that Joseph W. and Charles E. Teter have the preference in buying the shares of the other heirs.
I hereby revoke all former wills made by me. Witness my hand this Sept. 5th A. D. 1892.

The said Adam Teter at his residence in Des Moines Township, Van Buren Co. on the 5th day of Sept. A. D., 1892 signed the foregoing instrument and declare the same to be his last will and testament and we at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto written our names as subscribing witnesses.
