Monday evening, April 8, 1901, at the M.E. parsonage in Cantril, Iowa, occurred the quiet but pretty wedding of Mr. Henry Bartholomew to Miss Elva Cox, both nice young people of our community. Henry has lived on the E. Manning farm for the past three years and is an upright, industrious young man. The bride is loved by all her acquaintances. She was formerly a resident of Vernon Prairie. They will live this year on a farm one half mile from Cantril but expect to move to Montana next year. Their many friends extend congratulations. {End of news article}.
