FRESHET IN THE DES MOINES RIVER. - Rumor says much damamge has been done along the Des Moines River by the breaking up of the ice and the melting of the snow in the North-West. A letter received by one of our citizens from Bonaparte, and dated March 3d, says: - The dam at Farmington is supposed to be one-fourth gone; at Bentonsport, the old dam all gone, and the new one badly torn — at Keosauqua, the dam is mostly torn out. Thus far no damage had been sustained at Bonaparte. — [Oskaloosa Herald.
