Cummings-Wendt.

Mr. Minor Cummings and Miss Lulu Wendt were married at the home of the bride's parents in Ft. Madison, Iowa, Wednesday evening, October 9, 1907, at 6 o'clock, Rev. George Yule of the Baptist church officiating.

Mr. Cummings is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cummings who reside a mile south of Bonaparte. He is an industrious young man of good habits. He is also a substitute mail carrier.

Mrs. Cummings is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Wendt of Ft. Madison, formerly of Farmington. They came to Bonaparte Thursday and will reside for the present with Mr. Cummings parents. The many friends here extend congratulations.

The witnesses were Miss Elsie Cummings, a cousin of the groom, and Mr. Albert A. Wendt, a brother of the bride, the wedding being a pretty home affair. A sumptuous wedding supper was served.
